Balanced Weight Distribution
The increased overall outsole width ensures that your body weight is spread out more evenly, reducing the pressure points on your feet. This even weight distribution enhances comfort during various activities. For those with lower arches and flat feet, you will find that this is a big improvement. But for those with high arches, you may feel very little, to no difference.
Enhanced Outsole
The Primal 3 is made with our Widest Fit Last, just like the Primal 2. The difference is that we developed a new outsole on the Primal 3 with a wider footprint for more ground contact underneath the foot.
Higher Sidewalls
When examining the Lems Primal 3 from a lateral view, you may notice a visual difference — the sidewalls now wrap up higher on the sides. This is a deliberate design choice aimed at improving both fit and lateral stability. The higher side walls provide a snugger fit around the contours of your feet, cradling them comfortably.
Zero-Drop Platform
Just like the Primal 2, the Primal 3 is built on a zero-drop platform which keeps your heel and toes level, mimicking your natural barefoot position on a flat surface.

I love these boots!
Bought the Breck Boots for a hiking and camping trip in southern Colorado. Boots performed perfectly. My feet were dry in the rain. The zipper makes taking them on and off super easy. Paired with wool socks my feet were warm and comfortable. I highly recommend these!

Outstanding so far
So far these boots have been excellent. I am an archery elk hunter and I prefer a non rigid light weight boot. Through the first 10 days of the hunting season I’ve put just under 50 miles on these boots and the thread looks untouched In years past I have worn altras to hunt in but their quality, design and customer service have become horrendous. I’ve convinced to hunting friends to order a pair of these boots. I realize they are not advertised as hiking, hunting or back country boots but I’ve owned two pairs of lems shoes and know there quality standard are outstanding so I’d put them to the test.

Lems Breck Boot
I love the Breck boots that I purchased. They are really comfortable plus they are stylish. Looking forward to using them on an upcoming trip. Color is awesome and matches what is shown on the Lems website. Interestly, I learned of the Lems brand via a recommendation from ChatGPT entering my destination, time of year, and that I wanted comfort and style :) I am very pleased with my purchase!
