The increased overall outsole width ensures that your body weight is spread out more evenly, reducing the pressure points on your feet. Enhanced Outsole
The Primal 3 is made with our Widest Fit Last, just like the Primal 2. The difference is that we developed a new outsole on the Primal 3 with a wider footprint for more ground contact underneath the foot.
Higher Sidewalls
When examining the Lems Primal 3 from a lateral view, you may notice a visual difference — the sidewalls now wrap up higher on the sides. This is a deliberate design choice aimed at improving both fit and lateral stability. The higher side walls provide a snugger fit around the contours of your feet, cradling them comfortably.

Most comfortable boots I’ve ever owned.
These are fantastic. They are super durable and lighter than I expected. I read that they run a little small so I went up a half size (from 12 to 12.5) and they fit perfectly. If or when these wear out, I’d definitely get another pain.

They're great.
As always, Lems hits home runs. However, these went on early black friday sale the day after I received them 🤦‍♂️. D'oh!
The extra insole is a great detail. I ended up using one to make up for a slight volume difference between my feet. First I've ever see a pair of shoes come with a 'volume adjuster'.

Pretty decent but toe box too narrow
These are a pretty solid boot, but they fit too small (I'm typically a US 9, I had to get a 10.5). Even at this size, my little toes touch the side of the boot and I get some squishing/ rubbing - not as bad as blundstones but still uncomfortable over long periods. At the size I had to get to fit toe/ length, the arch ends up being too roomy, so the boot slides a bit. So not quite the right fit for me. Otherwise, I like the rugged sole and don't mind not having "ground feel" - in fact I prefer that for winter insulation and for riding a bike.
These will do for my daily cycle commute to work, but still searching for the perfect wide toe chelsea.
