Balanced Weight Distribution
The increased overall outsole width ensures that your body weight is spread out more evenly, reducing the pressure points on your feet. This even weight distribution enhances comfort during various activities. For those with lower arches and flat feet, you will find that this is a big improvement. But for those with high arches, you may feel very little, to no difference.
Enhanced Outsole
The Primal 3 is made with our Widest Fit Last, just like the Primal 2. The difference is that we developed a new outsole on the Primal 3 with a wider footprint for more ground contact underneath the foot.
Higher Sidewalls
When examining the Lems Primal 3 from a lateral view, you may notice a visual difference — the sidewalls now wrap up higher on the sides. This is a deliberate design choice aimed at improving both fit and lateral stability. The higher side walls provide a snugger fit around the contours of your feet, cradling them comfortably.
Zero-Drop Platform
Just like the Primal 2, the Primal 3 is built on a zero-drop platform which keeps your heel and toes level, mimicking your natural barefoot position on a flat surface.

Great find
Lems was recommended to me by my Pilates instructor. I have a very high arch, bunions, narrow heel and wide forefoot. I purchased the Primal Zen and loved them. (1/2 size up). I was looking for a lined boot with good tread. This certainly fits the bill. I do need to use the back pull and it was challenging to get them on the first few times with my high arch. I think they’ll definitely be my go to winter shoes.

Love these!!
I have wide feet and has bunion surgery a year ago. I’ve been looking for boots that fit my feet since the surgery, and do far UGGS have been all I can wear. I’m so glad I discovered Lems! I did need to get a10 instead of my regular 9.5. I regularly wear a 9.5 EE and there 10 fit great! The leather did scuff easily in the back when I took the shoes off. But I’m an art teacher, so they’re going to get a beating anyway. Polished looking and comfortable!! Some cushion but relatively simple with just A natural foot bed.

Excellent, with a tweak
These very cute boots feel comfortable and supportive on my challenging, wide, hard-to-fit feet. They're also nice and grippy and yes, waterproof! My only complaint was, like a couple of other customers, that the plastic-y, synthetic insoles made them sweaty, which then made my feet cold. I swapped out the original insoles for merino insoles I purchased on Amazon--much better.
