The increased overall outsole width ensures that your body weight is spread out more evenly, reducing the pressure points on your feet. Enhanced Outsole
The Primal 3 is made with our Widest Fit Last, just like the Primal 2. The difference is that we developed a new outsole on the Primal 3 with a wider footprint for more ground contact underneath the foot.
Higher Sidewalls
When examining the Lems Primal 3 from a lateral view, you may notice a visual difference — the sidewalls now wrap up higher on the sides. This is a deliberate design choice aimed at improving both fit and lateral stability. The higher side walls provide a snugger fit around the contours of your feet, cradling them comfortably.
Zero-Drop Platform
Just like the Primal 2, the Primal 3 is built on a zero-drop platform which keeps your heel and toes level, mimicking your natural barefoot position on a flat surface.

Great Boot!
The boot is lightweight and comfortable! The all black color-way is exactly what I need for work too (won’t look too dirty with oil/grease smears). Has been good in the fall, so we’ll see how it fares in the winter. It’s definitely breathable, so I don’t expect my feet to stay dry if I shovel my driveway, but should be fine walking from the car to the indoors in the snow.

OK, sizing is awkward
Somewhere I read, you should order a half size up. I ordered size 12 whereas normally I wear size 11 1/2. They feel good, but look a little bit large on my feet. I’ll keep them and wear them and we’ll probably order them again. They don’t have the extra wide toolbox so I don’t know that I would go down to the 11 1/2 size for fear would be too small.

Beautiful but the seems are fraying.
Around the toe area small pieces of the fabric are fraying and little threads are sticking out 1/4 inch or so. I am hoping to control it by melting them with a lighter. I hope it is not a problem in the long run. Other wise they're great.
