Balanced Weight Distribution
The increased overall outsole width ensures that your body weight is spread out more evenly, reducing the pressure points on your feet. This even weight distribution enhances comfort during various activities. For those with lower arches and flat feet, you will find that this is a big improvement. But for those with high arches, you may feel very little, to no difference.
Enhanced Outsole
The Primal 3 is made with our Widest Fit Last, just like the Primal 2. The difference is that we developed a new outsole on the Primal 3 with a wider footprint for more ground contact underneath the foot.
Higher Sidewalls
When examining the Lems Primal 3 from a lateral view, you may notice a visual difference — the sidewalls now wrap up higher on the sides. This is a deliberate design choice aimed at improving both fit and lateral stability. The higher side walls provide a snugger fit around the contours of your feet, cradling them comfortably.
Zero-Drop Platform
Just like the Primal 2, the Primal 3 is built on a zero-drop platform which keeps your heel and toes level, mimicking your natural barefoot position on a flat surface.

FULL RUBBER OUTSOLE WITH ZIG-ZAG SIPING

This sticky rubber outsole incorporates 4mm deep lugs for incredible traction on snow, mud, and everywhere in-between! The built in zig-zag grooves (siping) provide additional biting edges to cut into ice/snow and helps ground your feet in slippery situations.

Waterproof boots
I love the boots s far. They are comfortable and true to size and very waterproof for the PNW rainy weather. The only problem is the laces keep coming untied during my hike. I wish they had the metal loops instead of the eyelet on the last one so they could be tighter.

The boots I’ve been waiting for!
My husband purchased a pair of Lems a couple of years ago ago. They have lasted him through many long hikes in the wilderness of Mew Mexico, multiple hunts, and two 27 mile marches. I have been waiting for the right time to get myself a pair. The width, the comfort and the ruggedness to manage the outdoors is what I got and expected. Starting to save for another pair!

Comfortable Supportive Fashionable.
I’ve worn LEMS for a couple of years. Love them a lot! I was a bit weary of getting hiking shoes because my Keen’s work well for me. But WTH..I’ll try these out. I really like the feel and the look. I first ordered my usual size, 9.5 but I needed a half size bigger,10. The fit is just a tad narrower than my other LEMS. But the new size is perfect plus a tad extra for thicker socks!! Returning the other pair was a breeze. Just remember to NOT wear your return outside or for any length of time. I tried my return on for a few minutes and knew right away I needed to return.
LEMS is a great company and they support Military and first responders.
