Good fit for sizing. Water proofing held up all winter though I did clean and oul them about once a month. Only issues, as someone wirh very wide feet, its very very tight to get my foot through the upper of the boots once on, great fit. And the pull loop on the back of the boot has ripped out some stoches very very easily without a ton of pressure from pulling on the boot. Little disappointed in how delicate that loop is. Otherwise, solid shoe.

These boots were absolutely wonderful for a first time zeros drop shoe wearer. And I’m a men’s size 15 so finding a dependable shoe is impossible for me. Unfortunately I kicked a bucket of paint all over them within the first hour of putting them on. (Sigh)

They are a super comfy boot with a dress casual feel for more than bouldering around in style. ( wish I hadn’t ruined them so fast) I would 100% recommend these boots to all my friends.

I wanted a pair of boots that wouldn’t squeeze my toe, were waterproof, and had slip resistant soles. Check, check, and check. I am only feet all day and usually have to wear trail runners or hiking shoes from another well known zero drop and wide toe box shoe company. It is awesome that I can get something that doesn’t look like I am training for a race during work.

I have large feet, my "normal" shoe size is 15 Triple E. I always destroy my shoes, in my lifetime I have never had a pair of shoes last longer than a year, average of 8 months before the soles wear down or my wide feet bust out of the sides. I have never had a pair of shoes that were comfortable, that is, until I discovered Lems. The barefoot shoe style Lems offers has been a life changer for me, I still wear a size 15 for the length, but the normal fit Lems offers fits my wide feet perfectly right from the start, the platforms (soles) actually support my entire foot.

4 years ago I purchased a pair of Waterproof Boulder Boots from Lems, I was hesitant as they were expensive but I hoped they would fit, and they did, from the moment I slipped them on they felt amazing. The day I got them I went for a 5km walk and it was the first time ever I arrived home and my feet were not in pain. 4 years and THOUSANDS of kilometres of walking later these boots were still going, the soles looked great, the leather uppers which I had mostly neglected still looked good, until I was out hiking and lost my balance and slipped down a steep hill, my left foot slid across a very sharp rock, the boots took the blow that would have gashed my foot deeply in the middle of the woods, the leather was cut but my foot was intact, not a scratch, sadly the boots gave their life for me. I ended up trying my regular size 10, and two half sizes larger, to determine that 10.5 was the best fit. They were instantly comfortable, no break in period required. They ride up higher than some chukka style boots, and I am looking forward to the extra coverage this will provide in snow.
