Love this shoe wish color wasn’t being discontinued
Love the Mariner in Oat. This color is perfect for the summer. I just wish they weren’t discontinuing it. And it’s super comfy.

Durable and flexible & how to fix a sloppy feeling heel
I really like the all-leather construction, giving it durability and flexibility.
For me, these shoes were a little loose in the heel. When I laced them up, the laces cut right across a ridge of bone on the top of the foot, making it very uncomfortable. I fixed this by adding another grommet (you can see the silver grommet in the picture), allowing me to lace the shoe a little higher, taking the pressure of the ridge, while also making the shoe feel snugger in the heel. I purchased the metal grommets from a fabric supply store and punched them in myself.
I also found a sharpie in a similar blue, and coloured all the white lacing, because I wanted less contrast.
