Comfortable. Wore them as soon as they arrived. I have an orthotic lift for my left foot and I put that in. I could feel the left foot set a little bit higher than the right. After just a few minutes of wearing the shoes, I never even felt the difference after that. I wore them for about three hours with no pain no rubbing. I have a moderately wide foot and they fit very well.
