PRIMAL 2 VS. PRIMAL 3 OVERVIEW

Balanced Weight Distribution
The increased overall outsole width ensures that your body weight is spread out more evenly, reducing the pressure points on your feet. This even weight distribution enhances comfort during various activities. For those with lower arches and flat feet, you will find that this is a big improvement. But for those with high arches, you may feel very little, to no difference.
Enhanced Outsole
The Primal 3 is made with our Widest Fit Last, just like the Primal 2. The difference is that we developed a new outsole on the Primal 3 with a wider footprint for more ground contact underneath the foot.
Higher Sidewalls
When examining the Lems Primal 3 from a lateral view, you may notice a visual difference — the sidewalls now wrap up higher on the sides. This is a deliberate design choice aimed at improving both fit and lateral stability. The higher side walls provide a snugger fit around the contours of your feet, cradling them comfortably.
Zero-Drop Platform
Just like the Primal 2, the Primal 3 is built on a zero-drop platform which keeps your heel and toes level, mimicking your natural barefoot position on a flat surface.

RUGGED RUBBER OUTSOLE

The full rubber outsole features 4mm lugs for incredible traction both on and off-road. The built in zig-zag siping helps dissipate water and maintain ground contact.

New shoes, new lifestyle
The wife researches things before she does things and has been looking at shoes to help her live a different lifestyle. One day she found these shoes, really like them, like the recommendations and since Christmas was right around the corner, I figured I would surprise her. She wears a 9 but come to find out 9.5 would be better. Since it was after Christmas, all the paperwork was gone. I reached out LEMS via email for help and got an email with instructions on how to return the wrong shoes and replace with shoes with the right size. Talk about service and helping the customer out! Excellent selection, great customer service (even during peak return/rush time). A company with shoes and service well worth the price!

Nice shoes
These are great minimal shoes so I dont twist my ankle. So many shoes have a heel that I dont like. LEMS have helped me prevent twisting ankles since my first pair back in 2020.

The O M G feeling :)
I've just received my Trail Thrashers. First of all, they are beautiful! I choose the green color and the shoes even look better in real life than in the photos. Let's be honest, for us women, look and color matters. Most of us want to look good in those hiking pictures ;) I've seen that the waterproof version is coming out soon. That's an amazing upgrade! However...black...only black...I mean really?! Please add some other colors for us women too. Don't have to be Barbie pink but something, please :) Especially that black could be too warm when it's a bit warmer weather (maybe that's just an illusion, but this is my experience with black hiking shoes/boots). I've put the Trail Thrasher on and it's very comfortable. It is indeed not a barefoot shoe, but has the wide toe box and with time it becomes a real zero drop. It has a noticeable proper cushioning. For me it's okay. I wear barefoot shoes normally, but I'm still in progress of transitioning, so I don't mind if for hiking (especially for longer hikes) I will have these ones, however it's not for hardcore barefoot shoe lovers. Comfy, pretty, excellent quality. I love them.
