PRIMAL 2 VS. PRIMAL 3 OVERVIEW

Balanced Weight Distribution
The increased overall outsole width ensures that your body weight is spread out more evenly, reducing the pressure points on your feet. This even weight distribution enhances comfort during various activities. For those with lower arches and flat feet, you will find that this is a big improvement. But for those with high arches, you may feel very little, to no difference.
Enhanced Outsole
The Primal 3 is made with our Widest Fit Last, just like the Primal 2. The difference is that we developed a new outsole on the Primal 3 with a wider footprint for more ground contact underneath the foot.
Higher Sidewalls
When examining the Lems Primal 3 from a lateral view, you may notice a visual difference — the sidewalls now wrap up higher on the sides. This is a deliberate design choice aimed at improving both fit and lateral stability. The higher side walls provide a snugger fit around the contours of your feet, cradling them comfortably.
Zero-Drop Platform
Just like the Primal 2, the Primal 3 is built on a zero-drop platform which keeps your heel and toes level, mimicking your natural barefoot position on a flat surface.

RUGGED RUBBER OUTSOLE

The full rubber outsole features 4mm lugs for incredible traction both on and off-road. The built in zig-zag siping helps dissipate water and maintain ground contact.

DURABLE MATERIALS

Crafted with perforated suede where the foot flexes, allowing for maximum comfort and mobility.

WIDE TOE BOX

Unlike traditional footwear that squeeze the toes together, our foot-shaped toe box allows for maximum room giving the toes ultimate freedom to wiggle and spread.

ZERO-DROP

Places the forefoot and heel flat to the ground or pedal, correcting posture, aligning your spine, and encouraging mid-foot strike.

The first shoes I have ever owned that work well for MTB (adequate stiffness, good grip on the pedals, doesn't flop around on my foot) and hiking (wide enough not to pinch my toes). Now I can finally pack just one technical shoe on trips!

These exceded my expectations. They are My first lems product and I love the fit and feel. My feet are 10.9 inches ling snd 4.7 inches wide. They are slightly snug in both length and width on a size 11, so in the future I’ll size up a half size. Bit these feel good as is. I’ve alreadu ordered some waterproof chelsea boots as an easy slip on option.

Love'em
Perfect follow up to the primal pursuit that I've truly missed since they were discontinued. So high quality and solid feeling while maintaining great mobility. Lems does it the best. Only feedback would be to add a nice gray or blue color back into this range.
