I’ve run in both the ZENSPEED Lite and ZENSPEED+, and the Lite is my personal favourite. It feels lower to the ground and more connected, while still giving enough cushioning and protection for longer road runs and some gravel. The roomy, foot-shaped fit gives my toes plenty of space without feeling sloppy. It’s not a true barefoot shoe, but if you’re already comfortable running in minimalist footwear and want something for higher-mileage runs, I think it strikes a really good balance.

Laces take some getting used to. Sizing was right on 14W. Very comfortable. Usual Lem wide toe-box.

Have been hoping for a while that LEMS would come thru with a running shoe and they finally did. ZENSPEED Lite checks all the boxes for me with no drawbacks: Wide toe box, zero drop, moderate stack height, firm midsole , low toe spring, low to moderate arch, reasonably durable outsole.

I love lems and this running shoe feels great! I had been looking for a new running shoe and usually go with Brooks. Love the Brooks Ghost but it’s diverged from what it used to be. I ordered a pair of Altra, Brooks, and these Lems so I could get a good comparison. Lems is the hands down winner for overall fit and comfort.
