Customers say these chukka boots offer exceptional comfort with their roomy toe box and natural feel. Many reviews mention their versatility, working well for both casual and office wear. The suede design earns praise for its style, though some note it needs regular cleaning. While most find them durable and well-made, opinions vary on sizing - some prefer going up half a size while others suggest staying true to size. Reviews frequently highlight the lightweight construction and flexibility. The boots pair well with various outfits, from jeans to khakis, making them a versatile choice for daily wear.
Just what I was looking for - another great shoe from LEMS.

El zapato mas confortable que tengo
Queda muy bien con tejanos, es cómodo y respetuoso. No oprime el pie y es calentito. Un gran zapato

The best of Lems is no more...I think.
This is hands down my favorite Lems shoe. I've worn them almost daily for years with minimal wear and I always receive compliments. The break in period took a while perhaps but I'm fine with that. They can be worn on so many different occasions - with jeans on the weekend or at work with khakis. Even look cool with shorts. I bought one of the last pairs that were half price a while back when it looked like they were being discontinued, but I say again, these are by far my faves. I also have a couple boulder boots (to tall in height and short looking in length but still solid), boulder boot mid which has really nice not-too-shiny leather and are good for work, but I favor the chukka suede over them all as well as the offerings I see on the website. Should have written a review earlier!

Looks great, but go up half a size
Overall this is a very good boot and a solid purchase. It looks fantastic and not at all out of place compared to "conventional" shaped shoes. Nice enough for casual use or to wear to the office. They are also comfortable, with no hot spots or chafing around the ankles or heel.
It's not the most flexible sole compared to some other minimalist shoes, but flat and zero drop. Definitely use suede-friendly waterproofing spray to protect them from the elements. I haven't noticed any issues with traction, but I've only worn them twice so far, albeit on snowy pavement.
I recommend going up a half size. I'm normally a 9 in just about every shoe and brand, but the 9 for these are a bit snug. I assume they will stretch out a little as they break in, but they're also a little snug up front with not as much space as I usually like. A 9.5 likely would've been perfect. I will still heat them up and stretch them out a little bit more.

Do not discontinue!
I own a few different Lems models and this one is by far my most favorite! I own both suede colorways and if they made more colors I'd buy them. Please Lems, do not discontinue this shoe! Would be a mistake. There is no other shoe you make that I would continue to buy.
