Comfortable but too loose in front, undersized for certain foot shapes
The good: I like the feeling of letting my toes splay naturally thanks to the wide toebox. I also get more of a ground feel (compared to traditional shows) when walking which feels refreshing too.
Somewhat controversial: the sole is still thick enough to absorb the impact when heel striking, so I did not have to adjust my gait; barefoot purists may see this is a con but it's fine by me.
Not so good:
1. I had to go a whole size up (from 10.5 to 11.5) to fit into these shoes. I believe this is because conventional shoes with elongates narrow fronts are more accommodating of the so called Greek foot shape. It would have been helpful if Lems had a fitting guide that takes various foot shapes into the account and/or provided a vetted guide how to measure one's feet to ensure a good fit.
2. While I appreciate the extra width, I find the toebox too tall. It is not a big problem when jut walking but it does reduce the response I get when releasing pedals while driving. Thicker socks are helpful but that only works in winter.

Lasting quality.
I’ve worn these shoes almost every day for the last 7 months and they still look great. The colour is still good and no sems are coming apart. They feel great and I do a lot of walking in them.

My favorite shoes
I now own 2 pair of these. One for yard work and one for casual wear. They are super comfortable and have really helped my feet feel better since I started wearing them. The metatarsalgia has improved a lot. Great shoes and a great value!
