fitting advise
Love the boots but the gusset between the tongue and the boot upper is too tight. It is very hard to get my foot in the boots and I am relinquished to wearing thin socks just to be able to get my foot in, which is not optimal in the winter. I looked at my pack boots and they have a fold in the gusset allowing it to open up more.
I would recommend something like that because right now I am contemplating cutting the gusset on both sides which of course would negate waterproofness.
