TRAILHEAD VS. MESA: WAS IST DER UNTERSCHIED?

Desert Khaki

We recommend ordering UP 1/2 size from your normal US size. If you have wider feet, we do not suggest this shoe.

Unsure of your size? We recommend ordering 2+ pairs at a time, as we offer a flat shipping fee of $5.95 & free exchange options for US customers.

This shoe is available in one width - MEDIUM Natural-Shape, as highlighted below:

RUGGED UPPER

The upper is made of durable materials that stand up to the abuses of trails, and also daily wear and tear.

MOUNTAIN-TO-TOWN OUTSOLE

Engineered with a low profile rubber tread that combines the best of both worlds: ample traction on trails, AND excellent durability on pavement.

LOW HEEL DROP

With 4mm of drop, compared to the traditional 12mm of drop, the Trailhead naturally decreases heel-striking for a more natural gait and healthier posture.

FIRM CUSHIONING

When your foot is on too soft of cushion, you end up with pain and discomfort. We've formulated a firm EVA midsole that'll keep your feet happy all day long.

Reviews Summary
Customers say these hiking shoes are extremely comfortable and versatile, perfect for daily wear, work, and outdoor activities. Many praise the wide toe box, supportive fit, and excellent grip on various terrains. Users frequently mention the shoes require no break-in period and feel comfortable immediately. Common feedback includes sizing concerns, with most recommending ordering a half to full size up as these run small. While many love the durability and quality construction, some note the toe box is narrower than expected for a minimalist shoe. The zero-drop design and cushioning receive positive reviews, though a few find the sole stiffer than anticipated.

    OK

The shoe has a wide enough toe box. The soles are stiff and hard and not what I was expecting. It is more like a boot. They make a lot of noise when walking on hard surfaces. I was expecting a sole more like a running shoe. The picture of the shoe rolled up is a little misleading. It flexes at the ball of the foot, but that is about all. I have worn them all day and they are surprisingly comfortable. They are hard to slip onto your foot. The laces are the material type that are slippery and won’t stay tied. I need to add a double knot to keep them from coming loose. Overall, I like the shoes, but I would look for a softer sole next time.

    I wear a size 9 or 9 1/2 and ordered a 10 and they fit fine.

Would buy again. Do not change these!

Haven’t been this pleased with a pair of shoes in a long time. They are so comfortable, very versatile for everyday wear or light hiking. They look great too. I hope Lems never changes the colors and style on this shoe. I would buy multiple replacements. I like them so much I ordered my wife the Trail Blazers. She has plantar fasciitis and she loves them. We will be buying more Lems in the future.
