Balanced Weight Distribution
The increased overall outsole width ensures that your body weight is spread out more evenly, reducing the pressure points on your feet. This even weight distribution enhances comfort during various activities. For those with lower arches and flat feet, you will find that this is a big improvement. But for those with high arches, you may feel very little, to no difference.
Enhanced Outsole
The Primal 3 is made with our Widest Fit Last, just like the Primal 2. The difference is that we developed a new outsole on the Primal 3 with a wider footprint for more ground contact underneath the foot.
Higher Sidewalls
When examining the Lems Primal 3 from a lateral view, you may notice a visual difference — the sidewalls now wrap up higher on the sides. This is a deliberate design choice aimed at improving both fit and lateral stability. The higher side walls provide a snugger fit around the contours of your feet, cradling them comfortably.
Zero-Drop Platform
Just like the Primal 2, the Primal 3 is built on a zero-drop platform which keeps your heel and toes level, mimicking your natural barefoot position on a flat surface.

Cured My Sciatica Nerve Pain
I was previously wearing a well known sports brand shoe from the outlet mall, little did I know it was causing me severe sciatica in my hip and legs due to the huge heel rise. When I switched to Lems the results were seen within just a few days. My sciatica nerve pain is CURED. Now after one year I am wearing the same shoes and I have ZERO nerve pain. The only change I made was switching to Lems brand shoes. I honestly can't believe how STUPID other shoe brands are, I mean I literally couldn't walk because the sciatica was so bad and it was all because of the trendy narrow toe box high-heel shoes. Lems is a different breed, and because I switched I now have the ability to walk 10-12 hours a day without nerve pain. These shoes, and the whole zero rise thing with big toe box is an absolutely essential part of my life and I can't believe I went so long without understanding shoe technology. Thanks to the advertising of Lems and how they explain their design it all clicked instantly and started to make sense. I have been wearing them for one whole year now and I still have zero nerve pain. As a control test I went for ONE jog with the old sports shoes and within an hour I started having nerve pain again which 100% confirms that it was the narrow toe box and high heel that puts my pelvis in an awkward angle that causes the pain. Great Feeling Shoes, Excellent Customer Service
I’ve been wearing these shoes for a couple of weeks and I am impressed with their comfort. They also keep your feet dry when there are big puddles.
Lems customer service is excellent! The delivery service company left my shoes in an unsecured area and the package was acquired by someone whose name was not on the package. I called customer service and they sent another pair. Thank you Lems for your excellent customer service!

Men's Boulder Summit Waterproof (BLACK)
LOVE THE BOOTS. At my age I've tried many different types of shoes/boots. I have also tried many different types of orthotics (cheaper ones and $600 ones). After years of changes and meeting people with the same issues. ( FEET, KNEES, HIPS and BACK) I decided to follow the advise of all of those individuals and get rid of the orthotics and work on strengthening my feet. My son introduced me to LEMS and I just got my first pair (ABOVE/BLACK). They have been a big part of my ongoing transition away from orthotics and everything seems to be going well. It has not been easy or pain free, but you can't fix overnight what took so many years to ruin.
