Balanced Weight Distribution
The increased overall outsole width ensures that your body weight is spread out more evenly, reducing the pressure points on your feet. This even weight distribution enhances comfort during various activities. For those with lower arches and flat feet, you will find that this is a big improvement. But for those with high arches, you may feel very little, to no difference.
Enhanced Outsole
The Primal 3 is made with our Widest Fit Last, just like the Primal 2. The difference is that we developed a new outsole on the Primal 3 with a wider footprint for more ground contact underneath the foot.
Higher Sidewalls
When examining the Lems Primal 3 from a lateral view, you may notice a visual difference — the sidewalls now wrap up higher on the sides. This is a deliberate design choice aimed at improving both fit and lateral stability. The higher side walls provide a snugger fit around the contours of your feet, cradling them comfortably.
Zero-Drop Platform
Just like the Primal 2, the Primal 3 is built on a zero-drop platform which keeps your heel and toes level, mimicking your natural barefoot position on a flat surface.

Impressed!
While I have not actually worn these boots yet, I am very impressed with the quality. The reason I have not worn them yet is because its summer and hot outside. These boots came very quickly. They fit perfectly. I ordered a 1/2 size up. The leather is amazing and I just know I will love them. If you are on the fence, buy them.

Great Boot But Size Up
I was thrilled to discover your leather (non-steel toed) work boot with a wider toe box, barefoot style. Hardly any companies makes these. I started by ordering my normal size but the toe box was much too cramped. Exchanging it for a half size up solved the problem. Still, it's not as roomy a toe box as we barefooters are accustomed to. However I am SUPER happy to have these boots! Thanks for making a really great boot and for making the exchange process so easy.

A complex relationship!
I love these boots very much and would love to give them a higher rating. Many friends have suggested them to me for their ultimate comfort and wide toe box. Unfortunately, I have been wearing them semi regularly for about a month since I received my package in the mail (previously had to do a return which was very smooth, seamless and timely!) and the front seams are popping open rendering them no longer waterproof and also a little disheveled looking. I hope Lems will be willing to replace them as it's a bummer--I do enjoy the look and feel of the shoes very much!
