TRAIL TRACTION OUTSOLE
Our newly designed outsole has recessed grooves and singular lugs, giving you the traction you need for any sticky situation!
Lightweight, breathable air mesh covers the upper where the foot flexes, allowing for maximum comfort and mobility.
Places the forefoot and heel flat to the ground correcting posture, aligning your spine, and encouraging mid-foot strike.
WIDE TOE BOX

I searched all over the internet for the best hiking shoes. I found them! Comfort level is a 9 out of 10. My first hike with them I was defending quite a bit and noticed my toe kept hitting the front of the shoe and it was hurting. I was wondering if I needed a half size bigger (since that’s what some reviews recommended). I realized I didn’t have my laces tight enough and it was causing my foot to slip forward towards the front. I tightened the laces and it solved the problem! I walked through a creek, they are waterproof but my feet were fully submerged so my socks got wet. Shoes dried quickly. Grip is 100%! I was ascending on loose gravel and rocks and never slipped. I like these over the Salomon high top ankle boots I used to wear for sure!Erica T.Verified Buyer

I like these shoes more every time I wear them. I've worn them to work (on my feet all day), on walks, birding excursions, and a light hike. The traction and sturdy outsole have impressed me. They also just look awesome! I usually wear a 6-6.5 but needed a 7 in these for length. The exchange process was quick and easy.
When I tell people about these shoes, I explain that these are minimalist footwear: designed to fit your natural foot position, no marshmallow-y padding or extreme rocker. I think that's important because it may take time to adjust and transition to these shoes while your foot muscles strengthen. I started out only wearing them a couple hours at a time and now can wear them all day.
I love the natural foot shape, but as someone with a very narrow foot, I need to wear thicker socks when hiking so my foot doesn't slide side to side. The Trailhead (with its mid-width) probably would have fit me better, but I preferred the zero drop and flexibility of the Primal Pursuit. My only gripe is that the laces don't stay tied well without double-knotting.RaeVerified Reviewer
