PRIMAL 2 VS. PRIMAL 3 OVERVIEW

Balanced Weight Distribution
The increased overall outsole width ensures that your body weight is spread out more evenly, reducing the pressure points on your feet. This even weight distribution enhances comfort during various activities. For those with lower arches and flat feet, you will find that this is a big improvement. But for those with high arches, you may feel very little, to no difference.
Enhanced Outsole
The Primal 3 is made with our Widest Fit Last, just like the Primal 2. The difference is that we developed a new outsole on the Primal 3 with a wider footprint for more ground contact underneath the foot.
Higher Sidewalls
When examining the Lems Primal 3 from a lateral view, you may notice a visual difference — the sidewalls now wrap up higher on the sides. This is a deliberate design choice aimed at improving both fit and lateral stability. The higher side walls provide a snugger fit around the contours of your feet, cradling them comfortably.
Zero-Drop Platform
Just like the Primal 2, the Primal 3 is built on a zero-drop platform which keeps your heel and toes level, mimicking your natural barefoot position on a flat surface.

Perfection!
For the last 6 months I have been working on a transition to barefoot shoes. I have bursa and other pain, so every few days I have had to go back to more traditional shoes. I had been looking for a "transition" barefoot sandal and my PT recommended these. They came 2 days ago and I have been wearing them non-stop ever since. They have just enough padding to keep my heel pain from acting up, and the adjustable strap is the best so it stays tight. I wore them on the treadmill yesterday and no pain. These are absolutely amazing and I love them! Thank you so much for these shoes!

First Impression: A+
This is not my first zero drop sandal purchase. Far from it. I've seemingly tried them all in an attempt to find one sandal that would be my go everywhere, do everything favorite. I should have started a YouTube channel for all the sandals I've gone through. I am a big fan of the Boulder Boot from Lems and so when I saw this Sandal, I was intrigued. They seemed to combine all the attributes that have worked for me. Most importantly, they don't have a hard, plastic piece on the inner ankle that inevitable causes me a blister on long, hot, summer hikes. While I've only been on hour long dog walks in them so far, the soft fabric (neoprene?) glides instead of sticking into my inner ankle. So far so good! I also have a thin, narrow foot (Women's 10) with very little arch so the adjustability of the single strap and "slydrs" are awesome in getting a great fit. I'm excited to see how they do in water, how grippy the soles are on wet rocks. Hopeful that I can stop packing two different sandals (one for hiking, one for water) when I travel for outdoor adventures and just take these!
As for color, I chose the Sandstorm color and it is a nice neutral. Super happy with the choice. I live in Central Oregon where it is dusty, so it is a great match for the landscape. No more filthy looking black sandals. These camouflage perfectly. Thanks, Lems!

Absolutely Love!
Just got a pair and I absolutely love them! A great sandal. Now I just want more color ways haha. I would love an all white pair. Even the sole from the Oasis on the Mojave's would be awesome!
