This boot still maintains the lightweight frame you’ve come to know and love from Lems — even though we’ve added a unique waterproof membrane, these puppies will still hit the scale at a featherlight 12.9oz.

We also took some time to rethink the overall construction of this boot, and reinforced everything; from a thicker gauge thread to an overall stronger outer construction. And yes, before you ask, they’re zero-drop. Ready to roll through a river, plow through an ice pack, or anything else on your agenda? Good, because so are our Waterproof Boulder Boots, which keep your feet shockingly clear from clammy conditions due to a breathable waterproof membrane that stops water from penetrating into the boot, while still allowing the heat from your feet to escape. This kind-of-a-big-deal boot also utilizes a pre-treated leather upper, that can be reapplied with waterproofing wax/spray to help extend its water repellency.

The Waterproof Boulder Boot is the one shoe that does it all without ever missing a step. You can easily pack it, but you’ll also feel good wearing it everywhere, everyday. And just so you know — this boot was designed with an incredible amount of detail and care, and we can’t wait to see where you go in it.

WATERPROOF

Rain or sun, we’re ready. Not only can you skip along streams and keep your toes dry, you can up the ante on where your travel takes you this winter, thanks to your new favorite pair, complete with a gusseted tongue.

OILED LEATHER UPPER

We’ve utilized a 100% full-grain leather with an oiled finish, that is pre-treated to be water repellent. To increase the water-repellency and extend it over the life of the shoe, we suggest using a waterproofing wax such as Otter Wax and reapplying 2-3 times per year.

IBR OUTSOLE

Our injection blown rubber outsole is what makes Lems incredibly lightweight and flexible. Deemed as the perfect travel companion, this boot can pack down to the size of your favorite puff jacket.

ZERO-DROP

Places the forefoot and heel flat to the ground correcting posture, aligning your spine, and encouraging mid-foot strike.

Reviews Summary
Customers say these boots are extremely comfortable and lightweight, feeling like slippers right out of the box. Many appreciate the wide toe box and zero drop design, which provides all-day comfort for work and casual wear. Users consistently recommend sizing up half a size for the best fit. The waterproof feature performs well in rain and wet conditions. Common feedback includes praise for durability, with many wearing them daily for years in construction and demanding work environments. Some mention the boots can be tight to get on and off, requiring loosened laces. A few users note concerns about sole grip on slippery surfaces and occasional squeaking. Overall, customers find them versatile enough for everything from office wear to hiking.

    Good with some minor issues

I'm one of those folks who will modify shoes like this to dial them in for my needs. So far I haven't had to do that, but it's probably coming after wearing them pretty much nonstop for three weeks. First, the pros. These shoes are well built from quality materials and should last a long time, even after they're "worn out". I think they look good new and will look even better once they're broken in, scratched and scuffed, and dried a few times after getting wet. The wide toe box has become really important to me over the last few years (I'm 62 at this writing), and the zero-drop design plus the materials make this a solid shoe for some basic outdoor experiences, yet fashionable for indoor and even some work environments. It's not a hiking orca construction boot, but could easily get around for a bit in those environments.

The cons are minimal, but notable. The boots require complete loosening of the laces to get on and even then I sometimes feel like I'm going to break the heel loop. They're a little tight behind and above the toe box, making them more comfortable to wear untied and loose-laced. Speaking of laces, they are essentially paracord which is rugged, but they don't seem to hold knots well and loosen over time unless I double-knot them. So another reason to wear them loose. That looks great with jeans or shorts, but won't work so well at the office or when walking distances. I would also have preferred the welt to be sewn (Goodyear?) rather than glued. I suspect…

    Great boots!

I really enjoy these boots. I gave it 4 stars only because I would like a little thinner sole and more grip on the tread. But Thats just personal preference. Great boots!

    I want to like these

They look great. I wore them once and they felt pretty good initially, but where the tongue is attached on both boots rubbed my ankles raw despite wearing Darn Tough boot socks with them. I don’t know if I got a faulty pair or it’s a flaw in the design.

    Awesome Boots!🥾

I thought about getting a pair of Lems boots for a while. When I saw a friend with these boots, I realized they looked even better in person, so I had to pull the trigger! No regrets, they’re extremely comfortable right out of the box and the water proofing works great. I pressure washed my house / driveway in them for hours and finished with dry socks!
