Balanced Weight Distribution
The increased overall outsole width ensures that your body weight is spread out more evenly, reducing the pressure points on your feet. This even weight distribution enhances comfort during various activities. For those with lower arches and flat feet, you will find that this is a big improvement. But for those with high arches, you may feel very little, to no difference.
Enhanced Outsole
The Primal 3 is made with our Widest Fit Last, just like the Primal 2. The difference is that we developed a new outsole on the Primal 3 with a wider footprint for more ground contact underneath the foot.
Higher Sidewalls
When examining the Lems Primal 3 from a lateral view, you may notice a visual difference — the sidewalls now wrap up higher on the sides. This is a deliberate design choice aimed at improving both fit and lateral stability. The higher side walls provide a snugger fit around the contours of your feet, cradling them comfortably.
Zero-Drop Platform
Just like the Primal 2, the Primal 3 is built on a zero-drop platform which keeps your heel and toes level, mimicking your natural barefoot position on a flat surface.

Lems Primal Eco: My Toes Finally Feel Free
I've been searching for a comfortable shoe that actually lets my feet do their job, and the Lems Primal Eco is absolutely it. I'm giving them a perfect 5/5 because they've completely changed how my feet feel after a long day of movement.
Honestly, the ultra-wide toe box is the biggest win here. I used to dread the pinching from traditional sneakers, but the Primal Eco is a lifesaver—my toes finally have the room they need to splay out naturally. If you have wide feet or just want to avoid that cramped feeling, this is the shoe. I wear them for hours every day, and my feet never feel fatigued or restricted.
The flexible, zero-drop platform also makes a huge difference. When I’m walking, my stride feels more grounded and natural than ever. They’re lightweight and the thin cork insole offers the perfect amount of cushioning, allowing for great ground feel without sacrificing comfort.
I appreciate that Lems made this model with an eco-friendly bonus: the upper is made with up to 50% recycled materials and the entire shoe is vegan-friendly.
I highly recommend the Primal Eco. It's the best casual shoe I’ve owned.

Great shoes!
This is my 4th pair of Lems, first pair of primals ecos. I had the primal zens before this and those were probably my favorite. But these are great too! They are very comfortable, and look great. I like that I can wear them without socks and my feet stay dry and cool! I’m definitely a big fan of lems! And they have a lot of vegan shoes as well, which is the main thing that brought me to them.
