The Outlanders with their waterproof uppers and 4mm deep lugs will give you incredible traction, whether you’re snowshoeing through mountain powder or trudging through mucky slush in town. Live somewhere very wet (we’re looking at you PNW)? The gusseted tongue keeps the tongue completely attached to the boot, preventing moisture and debris from coming inside the shoe. We also took the same breathable, waterproof liner from the Waterproof Boulder Boot to keep water out so your feet stay dry and warm.

A spacious toe box coupled with a zero-drop platform will have your feet dancing on the trail, because these natural foot-shaped hiking boots allow you to move in proper alignment, just as nature intended.

    They are excellent boots very comfortable zero drop with just enough cushion for the sharp rocks but still have great ground feel and grip. I haven’t had them long enough to soak for there durability but if they are like the last 4 pairs of shoes I’ve got from Lems they should be excellent.

    They are interesting

    I'm liking them more the longer I have them. They fit me snug, closer than anything I've worn before.

    For those of you thinking if you need to buy smaller size because the "big toe-box", just buy your normal size. I bought a smaller size and ended up returning them for my normal size tennis shoe. I don't need the waterproof feature. I personally can do without extra chemicals. But they're cool. Pricey for sure, but cool. I changed out the inserts for after-market flat inserts.

    Great boots

    I wanted a pair of zero drop boots. These are great. They run a little small. I usually wear a 12 ½ and needed a 13. My only complaint is the laces are too short. They came at 62”. The want to be 70”. I got a pair of 72” laces. Good to go.

    Waterproof boots

    Bought this boots for my trip to Canada. I knew I would be in snow and rain all week. The boot worked just fine in Snow and rain. Kept my feet dry all week. My only advice is to have a more aggressive sole for more grip on different surfaces. Otherwise, really good boot. I also have two other pairs of Lems shoes in different styles.
