Balanced Weight Distribution
The increased overall outsole width ensures that your body weight is spread out more evenly, reducing the pressure points on your feet. This even weight distribution enhances comfort during various activities. For those with lower arches and flat feet, you will find that this is a big improvement. But for those with high arches, you may feel very little, to no difference.
Enhanced Outsole
The Primal 3 is made with our Widest Fit Last, just like the Primal 2. The difference is that we developed a new outsole on the Primal 3 with a wider footprint for more ground contact underneath the foot.
Higher Sidewalls
When examining the Lems Primal 3 from a lateral view, you may notice a visual difference — the sidewalls now wrap up higher on the sides. This is a deliberate design choice aimed at improving both fit and lateral stability. The higher side walls provide a snugger fit around the contours of your feet, cradling them comfortably.
Zero-Drop Platform
Just like the Primal 2, the Primal 3 is built on a zero-drop platform which keeps your heel and toes level, mimicking your natural barefoot position on a flat surface.

This is my fourth pair …
Well, let me give it to you straight. These are really good shoes! I’ve had multiple surgeries on both my feet. I walk fine, I run fine, I climb and hike fine, however you need the right type of shoe if your feet aren’t perfect. I currently own four pair of. Lens shoes.
I wouldn’t have bought a second pair if they didn’t perform and fit well.
Take care of your feet with the right type of shoes!

Nice clean shoe, similar to Primal Zen Leather
So these shoes feel and look similar to the Primar Zen Leather. The real difference is this has a cleaner look especially on the front toe. I got the black ones of both size 15 and they both fit great with plenty of to room. I will probably get a brown pair to mix and match.
The black with proper care could be used for a more dress attire for sure but does not have a sign of like a dress shoe. This though for nice work/business ware shoe, suite coat, nice pants combo or a good sunday best type of wear is perfect. Will by again and do recommend. It is nice to see LEMS offering this type of shoe.

Still satisfied!
I've been wearing Lems since 2018. This style is awesome and has a classically tasteful and modern look that works casually or for corporate casual. It dresses up anything you wear it with. I honestly loved them enough to order another pair in black. :-)
