Took me a while to find a shoe brand that would accommodate my wide feet and bunions. But I found Lems and these are now my 4th pair of shoes from them. I do order half a size up from my normal size. I ordered these in the spring because they were on sale, but I’m looking forward to seeing if they are the perfect winter shoe for cold, wet Ohio. Loving my Lems shoes!!

I bought this shoe for working on a farm - I needed something that would stand up to tough work, but also has a larger toe box similar to a barefoot shoe. These have been very comfortable for nearly two months now, even as the weather warms up. I was concerned at first about the tight ankle design, but have found it gives me ankle a lot of support while walking in arena sand. These are by far the best options I have found so far.

Pros; very durable and comfortable - I am never thinking about my feet while wearing them. They are supportive, durable, and waterproof. I feel confident stepping in puddles, mud scrapes right off with a boot cleaner, and they have been exceptionally durable. The toe box is larger than most shoes, which is a definite perk.

Cons - because I personally have used barefoot shoes so often, I need a larger toe box than most. Although the Chelsea Boots do have a far superior toe box to other boot brands I have tried, I am noticing my toe structure is rearranging to fit the shoe. I'd love to see a version where it's almost a true barefoot shaped shoe, with the durability of the Chelsea Boot Tuff Waterproof. Secondly, although I do like the ankle support, I am noticing my ankles are beginning to feel weaker because they constantly have this extra support throughout the workweek. Will protect your ankles well, but also leave them needing protection. I'm sure a few minutes of strengthening and stretching the foot after work, or during lunch break could…

My husband and I have been wearing the Chelsea Boot Tuff Waterproof boots since I bought them for our trip to New Zealand last September — about 8 months now — and they’ve quickly become the only boots we wear. We use them daily for work, walks, hikes, and even date nights.

They’re incredibly easy to slip on, and comfortable with either ankle socks or taller socks. I also love the wide toe box, which gives my feet plenty of room and makes them even more comfortable for all-day wear. I’m outside in the rain often, and these boots have performed exceptionally well in all kinds of weather. They also give me confidence on slippery terrain, so I never have to worry about losing traction.

On top of all that, they look great — stylish enough to wear out, but rugged enough for everyday use. Comfortable, versatile, waterproof, dependable, and good-looking — we absolutely love them.

Personally prefer the standard chelsea boot for its flexibility. My gf and I both tried these boots and I noticed she had significantly harder time getting her foot into her 6.5 boot (even though it ultimately was a good fit) than I did my men's 11 boot. Felt like more of the material was stiffer on the smaller sizes.
