Pretty Awesome
This is my first pair of Lems. So far I love them. I bought them to replace my old combat boots. My old pair was hot and cramped on my foot. The wide toe box is a game changer for all day comfort. My feet stay cool and comfortable. Whether is long Alaskan hikes or trips to the glacier, these boots have worked out great. We’ll see how they last through the years of heavy use, but I expect them to break in nicely!

Comfortable, light, supportive
Compared to my old Merrell Moab 2, and newer Moab 3, these blow my other tactical boots out of the water in terms of weight savings you’ll appreciate for daily wear and hiking, hunting, and all your outdoors activities. Due to the lightweight profile of these boots you’ll be tempted to enact as much plantarflexion as a sneaker, so I wish there was a little more give in this movement; however this is really only noticeable with long drives over a couple hours. At that point I prefer my Lem’s Chelsea boots in suede. I wear both in general aviation, and they’re great. In terms of tread durability, heat dissipation, and comfort the natural toe box is extremely forgiving. I’m normally a 9 but that was too snug, exchanged for 9.5, and any gaps are filled with thick socks or included insole pads. Excellent build quality. More testing and adventures ahead, but grab a pair if you’re on the fence. For reference: age 35, 5’8”, 180lb. Thanks Lem’s!

Barefoot Military Boot
So far I have greatly enjoyed these boots. The only thing I don't like about them is the excessive padding in the upper ankle area. I prefer a fabric upper without the padding. Other than that, the flatness and width is extremely comfortable.
