The increased overall outsole width ensures that your body weight is spread out more evenly, reducing the pressure points on your feet. Enhanced Outsole
The Primal 3 is made with our Widest Fit Last, just like the Primal 2. The difference is that we developed a new outsole on the Primal 3 with a wider footprint for more ground contact underneath the foot.
Higher Sidewalls
When examining the Lems Primal 3 from a lateral view, you may notice a visual difference — the sidewalls now wrap up higher on the sides. This is a deliberate design choice aimed at improving both fit and lateral stability. The higher side walls provide a snugger fit around the contours of your feet, cradling them comfortably.

Comfy but not zero drop!
These shoes are comfy, a lovely first pair of barefoot boots, but they do have a slight heel, which I noticed while standing still. I sized up but still needed to take the insoles out for maximum comfort. I am excited to break them in more!

Love these shoes!
Great shoes. I have several Lems shoes and these are by far my favorite. They are super comfortable and stylish to wear outside and also casually. I normally wear a women's size 10.5 and sized up to an 11 in these. I still have enough room to wear wool socks and not feel like they're uncomfortably tight. I walked in the wet grass for hours and the boots waterproofing was excellent and they dried super quick on the outside.

The Perfect Boot
I bought these for a 2-week trip to England and Scotland. No break-in period required. I wore them every day. So light and comfortable. My feet were warm and dry on the coldest and wettest days. My friend opted for another very popular brand and her feet constantly hurt.
