Balanced Weight Distribution
The increased overall outsole width ensures that your body weight is spread out more evenly, reducing the pressure points on your feet. This even weight distribution enhances comfort during various activities. For those with lower arches and flat feet, you will find that this is a big improvement. But for those with high arches, you may feel very little, to no difference.
Enhanced Outsole
The Primal 3 is made with our Widest Fit Last, just like the Primal 2. The difference is that we developed a new outsole on the Primal 3 with a wider footprint for more ground contact underneath the foot.
Higher Sidewalls
When examining the Lems Primal 3 from a lateral view, you may notice a visual difference — the sidewalls now wrap up higher on the sides. This is a deliberate design choice aimed at improving both fit and lateral stability. The higher side walls provide a snugger fit around the contours of your feet, cradling them comfortably.
Zero-Drop Platform
Just like the Primal 2, the Primal 3 is built on a zero-drop platform which keeps your heel and toes level, mimicking your natural barefoot position on a flat surface.

The best shoe I've ever owned
I bought a pair of these to use as an insurance adjuster as the soles had the exact material and pattern to hold on both a shingle and metal roof at steep slopes extremely well. I prefer how they grip to my cougar paws. Aa they are a real leather top, and have absolutely fantastic quality construction, they are all but a work boot from the sole up. EXTREMELY durable shoes. I walk somewhere between 10,000 to 20,000 ateps a day carring a 17 ft ladder or climbing up it for about half that time. I have walked through mud, water, and in rain with them several times. I have used my shoes at that pace for 8 months and have now ordered a second pair. I did not order them because my pair are bear the end of their life, I ordered them out of a very real fear the model will be chamged and I will have regretted not buying more. I wear these shoes golfing, arou d town, and on vacations. They have the original insoles and seem to become more comfortabe the older they get. Please do not change this shoe. It is simply the best shoe I have ever owned.

Shocked
This is the most comfortable shoe I've ever put on my feet right out of the box. I read other reviews that mentioned squeaking, which I also experienced, but remedied by removing the insoles. Still comfortable. Already looking at my closet for which shoe to replace next with Lems!
