The increased overall outsole width ensures that your body weight is spread out more evenly, reducing the pressure points on your feet. This even weight distribution enhances comfort during various activities. For those with lower arches and flat feet, you will find that this is a big improvement. But for those with high arches, you may feel very little, to no difference.
Enhanced Outsole
The Primal 3 is made with our Widest Fit Last, just like the Primal 2. The difference is that we developed a new outsole on the Primal 3 with a wider footprint for more ground contact underneath the foot.
Higher Sidewalls
When examining the Lems Primal 3 from a lateral view, you may notice a visual difference — the sidewalls now wrap up higher on the sides. This is a deliberate design choice aimed at improving both fit and lateral stability. The higher side walls provide a snugger fit around the contours of your feet, cradling them comfortably.
Zero-Drop Platform
Just like the Primal 2, the Primal 3 is built on a zero-drop platform which keeps your heel and toes level, mimicking your natural barefoot position on a flat surface.

Women’s Chelsea Boot Tuff Expresso
I have bought ten pair of lems shoes this fall and over the years. This was the first time I was a little disappointed. I loved the expresso color but when the boot came it was very hard to get on/off. I thought it might get easier but it hasn’t. In addition the stack height felt so high with the blue cushion so I replaced with the cork insole. Honestly they will probably sit in my closet. In hindsight sight I should have purchased the regular Chelsea’s waterproof boot. Hope this review helps making personal boot selections.

Love them!
Absolutely love these boots! Had a pair of lens sneakers and decided I wanted something a bit more stylish. Got these boots then 2 days later wore them as my only shoe walking around NYC with no foot pain whatsoever, and i had a sprained ankle at the time. I will be a forever customer and will always recommend these boots!

Great quality
These are my third pair of Lems. I've gotten rid of almost all my other shoes because they start to hurt your feet once you've started wearing the barefoot shoes. The leather on these is THICK and they feel like they'll last for years. Love the widest fit and the fact they give you an extra insole to customize the snugness.
