Enhanced Outsole
The Primal 3 is made with our Widest Fit Last, just like the Primal 2. The difference is that we developed a new outsole on the Primal 3 with a wider footprint for more ground contact underneath the foot.

When examining the Lems Primal 3 from a lateral view, you may notice a visual difference — the sidewalls now wrap up higher on the sides. Shoe Size
If you like a little extra wiggle room I would suggest ordering a whole size up. I ordered a half size up and I have about a quarter inch between my big toe and shoe. The fit is a tad more narrow than I anticipated, but I have a wide foot. I just loosened the laces.
For anyone who needs specific instructions/information especially when learning about new to you products, even though these shoes are gender neutral get the size you need in that gender. The product states gender neutral but I wanted to make sure I got the correct size and didn't want to accidentally order a 10 in men's vs a 10 in women's.
I haven't tried other barefoot shoes yet as I'm new to these after wearing crocs and tight tennis shoes for the last 10 years. I really like the feel of these and they're not heavy. However, I know from reading comments on other brands that this shoe is probably more of a tennis shoe feel vs being actually barefoot as there's still a decently thick bottom compared to other brands. But if you're not new to barefoot shoes I'm sure reading the descriptions will help since you'll know what size thickness you like anyway

Comfy shoes
Bought the shoes as has a wide toe. I normally wear an 8 1/2 but had to get a 9. Easy return to UPS and new size shipped as soon as UPS had the smaller shoes. Size 9 is perfect.
