The increased overall outsole width ensures that your body weight is spread out more evenly, reducing the pressure points on your feet. This even weight distribution enhances comfort during various activities. For those with lower arches and flat feet, you will find that this is a big improvement. But for those with high arches, you may feel very little, to no difference.
Enhanced Outsole
The Primal 3 is made with our Widest Fit Last, just like the Primal 2. The difference is that we developed a new outsole on the Primal 3 with a wider footprint for more ground contact underneath the foot.
Higher Sidewalls
When examining the Lems Primal 3 from a lateral view, you may notice a visual difference — the sidewalls now wrap up higher on the sides. This is a deliberate design choice aimed at improving both fit and lateral stability. The higher side walls provide a snugger fit around the contours of your feet, cradling them comfortably.
Zero-Drop Platform
Just like the Primal 2, the Primal 3 is built on a zero-drop platform which keeps your heel and toes level, mimicking your natural barefoot position on a flat surface.

Style and comfort all in one
I really like my Lems Chillum shoes.
They combine style and real comfort all in one.
I like the semi-canvas look; good for summer and winter.
I bought the white pair of chillum shoes so you need to be more careful to maintain the appearance.
Interestingly these shoes have cork insoles.
These are my second pair of minimalist shoes ever and I'm enjoying the experience of having more space in my footwear.

EXTREME COMFORT!!!
I have the Chillum, the Primal Zen, and the Primal 3, and all are extremely comfortable... ample room for toe splay, level platform (zero offset), and minimal sole thickness (low stack height).
I use the Chillum as my "go-out-chill-out" shoe (awesome with jeans... or shorts). I use the Primal Zen (have four pair) as another "go-out-chill-out" and work shoe, but also use my other pairs for running and strength training at the gym. Also, I enjoy using the Primal 3 for running and strength training.
Lems, please consider adding a shoe to your lineup that would be "ideal" for running ultra distances (paved or unpaved trail, maybe a road to trail shoe)... crazy durable, breathable, wide toe box, zero offset, and low(er) stack height (12-15mm)... and I'll buy stock in it.
