The Outlanders with their waterproof uppers and 4mm deep lugs will give you incredible traction, whether you’re snowshoeing through mountain powder or trudging through mucky slush in town. Live somewhere very wet (we’re looking at you PNW)? The gusseted tongue keeps the tongue completely attached to the boot, preventing moisture and debris from coming inside the shoe. We also took the same breathable, waterproof liner from the Waterproof Boulder Boot to keep water out so your feet stay dry and warm.

A spacious toe box coupled with a zero-drop platform will have your feet dancing on the trail, because these natural foot-shaped hiking boots allow you to move in proper alignment, just as nature intended.

Now, for the toughest decision of all: Which colorway will you choose? Evergreen, Blue Steel, or Iceberg? All three are beauties designed with inspiration from Mother Nature herself.

    Size 15 Outlander Boot

Initial reaction... love the boots. As with anything it has pros and cons depending on the type of use. For me they fit true to size and love the wide toe feature. They are comfortable and waterproof as I were them daily in the car wash. Things I would improve about the Outlander boots is the sole . It needs to be more slip resistant against wet metal flooring like drains and metal covers like manholes are super slippery!!! Also needs oil/chemical resistant capabilities. Last feature needed is a then protective layer in the sole to prevent punctures. Like screws or sharp rocks. The soles very comfortable and flexible which is good and bad. I've worn these everyday except weekends since January 17th 2024. They have taken a beating but it hasn't been a year yet and I'm starting to feel moisturize in the sock now. On both shoes. I'd buy again but definitely can't be extra rough with them and they are not a construction boot. Wondering if Lems warranties boots that loos its waterproof features in 5 months?? Also why am I not able to but the Iceberg size 15 boot? Been over 6 months still not available.

Great on trail and in town

Last summer I accidentally wore my Trailhead Sneakers on 7.5 mile hike after forgetting to change into my standard hiking boots at the trailhead. Turns out they were so comfortable I decided my next hiking footwear should be Lems. The Outlander waterproof boots are perfect. I just spent a week in Banff and wore them almost the entire time. I went on long hikes in snow and mud and then went out for dinner in town without changing shoes. They had great traction on steep, slippery trails, my feet stayed completely dry, and they repelled dirt/mud so they always looked clean. These are my fourth pair of Lems and might be my favorite so far.

    Great shoes, awful laces!

From a few days of wearing these, I can say pretty confidently that I'm happy with the shoe itself.

That being said, my size 14 shoes shipped with 60" (5') laces made of a paracord-like material. These laces were barely long enough to be tied, and the material caused them to slip after only a minute or so of use.

I've now replaced the laces with 72" (6') ones, and the shoes are much better. That being said, shoes this expensive being shipped with laces which do not allow the shoes to be used properly is not ok.
