The increased overall outsole width ensures that your body weight is spread out more evenly, reducing the pressure points on your feet. Enhanced Outsole
The Primal 3 is made with our Widest Fit Last, just like the Primal 2. The difference is that we developed a new outsole on the Primal 3 with a wider footprint for more ground contact underneath the foot.
Higher Sidewalls
When examining the Lems Primal 3 from a lateral view, you may notice a visual difference — the sidewalls now wrap up higher on the sides. This is a deliberate design choice aimed at improving both fit and lateral stability. The higher side walls provide a snugger fit around the contours of your feet, cradling them comfortably.

Initial Pair of Lems Boots
Love these boots. I have no complaints, but wanted to share an issue with you to make sure you are aware. this piece broke off while tying my boots, so nothing excessive.

Man, these are so damn comfy
As always, lems fit my feet better than any other brand. I love Converse and vans for the zero drop, but these always have perfect fitting shape around the toes. I think the insoles in these are much better than the original solid foam from my other boulder boot mid. My feet don't get as fatigued from standing for long hours in these.
As some others have stated, make sure you don't lace these up fully around your ankles since they don't stretch much. I usually lace them looser on top and they feel like a dream. I've been wearing these around Chicago in 30F weather and my feet are still nice and toasty.
My one complaint is that I can't get these in a safety composite toe or EH rated for work. Lems, if you ever make a safety toe version, it should be this boot and I'll be first in line.

Why did I wait so long??!
I got my Lems Boulder Boot Grip Waterproof boots and I absolutely love them. This is my sixth pair of Lems shoes and they do not disappoint. The wide toe box is wonderful, they are insanely comfortable, and the outsoles are perfect. Wore them today in a snow storm and they indeed grip. The leather is comfortable and well oiled so it is pliable and feels great. They look amazing, are lightweight, and are a great value. A Black Friday deal sealed the deal for me and I do not regret it. I’m so tempted to buy another pair…
