Cette sorte de grosse botte utilise également une tige en cuir prétraitée, qui peut être réappliquée avec un imperméabilisant wax/spray pour aider à prolonger sa déperlance.

We’ve utilized a 100% full-grain leather with an oiled finish, that is pre-treated to be water repellent. To increase the water-repellency and extend it over the life of the shoe, we suggest using a waterproofing wax such as Otter Wax and reapplying 2-3 times per year.

IBR OUTSOLE

    New to buying hiking boots

    I think these are really good quality boots. Lightweight. But I have a very high volume foot. These hit me on the top of my foot and squeeze it. I have worn them around the house a couple of times and the top of my foot hurts. Also they seem a little stiff which because they are leather I am sure it would just take some wearing in, around where the boots meet my leg. I have always had an issue with shoes bothering the top of my foot so I’m a little bit of an oddity I think. I apparantly have a very high volume foot. So if you are the same I would caution you for that fact. Otherwise they are really nice! I did size up a 1/2 size from my normal size

    Great waterproof boot

    I live in Oregon so I needed a waterproof shoe. My son recommended these they are perfect, really no break in time they are super comfortable plus they look cute. I actually bought a second pair so I can have a pair for walking in the forest and one for shopping. I actually wanted black but I fell in love with the brown color. I went up a whole size.
