Balanced Weight Distribution
The increased overall outsole width ensures that your body weight is spread out more evenly, reducing the pressure points on your feet. This even weight distribution enhances comfort during various activities. For those with lower arches and flat feet, you will find that this is a big improvement. But for those with high arches, you may feel very little, to no difference.
Enhanced Outsole
The Primal 3 is made with our Widest Fit Last, just like the Primal 2. The difference is that we developed a new outsole on the Primal 3 with a wider footprint for more ground contact underneath the foot.
Higher Sidewalls
When examining the Lems Primal 3 from a lateral view, you may notice a visual difference — the sidewalls now wrap up higher on the sides. This is a deliberate design choice aimed at improving both fit and lateral stability. The higher side walls provide a snugger fit around the contours of your feet, cradling them comfortably.
Zero-Drop Platform
Just like the Primal 2, the Primal 3 is built on a zero-drop platform which keeps your heel and toes level, mimicking your natural barefoot position on a flat surface.

always searching for comfort and big toe box. found it. this shoes/sneakers are super light weight, great rubber sole, very ample and comfortable toe box, and lovely suede upper that is soft and attractive. i'm thrilled.

2nd Pair of Exact Shoe
I love these so much! My first ones, that I got a few years ago, were originally used as my “dress shoes”. Then, four months ago, I started going to a powerlifting gym and these shoes became perfect for that. The Primal Zen provides just enough cushioning, but not too much where I’m wobbling around during deadlifts and barbell squats. And the low drop makes for a very stable shoe. I have hammertoes, and have had other foot issues in the past. The extra wide forefoot is so comfortable even though I do not have a wide foot. No foot problems with these. My new ones are now my “dress shoes”. The fit and look is totally consistent from the pair I got a few years ago, with my new ones. Both the suede, and the white sole has remained remarkably clean and in great shape. I love the color too.
