The increased overall outsole width ensures that your body weight is spread out more evenly, reducing the pressure points on your feet. Enhanced Outsole
The Primal 3 is made with our Widest Fit Last, just like the Primal 2. The difference is that we developed a new outsole on the Primal 3 with a wider footprint for more ground contact underneath the foot.
Higher Sidewalls
When examining the Lems Primal 3 from a lateral view, you may notice a visual difference — the sidewalls now wrap up higher on the sides. This is a deliberate design choice aimed at improving both fit and lateral stability. The higher side walls provide a snugger fit around the contours of your feet, cradling them comfortably.

Fit like a Glove
A colleague told me about Lems when I mentioned my wide feet. I went to the website and was immediately struck by this Chelsea Barefoot Boot Waterproof. I have been on a shoe quest for several years and have landed upon some wide-fitting shoes, but none of them hit the mark in terms of looks and longevity. My new Lems are the best shoe I have ever worn. They fit perfectly and are amazingly comfortable even though they are purported to be without the cushioned sole and shoe bed that many of my previous shoes had advertised. I like them so much that I ordered one in every color. I will always and only wear Lems now.

Men’s Chelsea Barefoot Waterproof
So far I love these. Super comfy and light weight. Only have worn them a little bit because weather has been so warm here in Colorado. Been wearing my Lems switchback sandals, which I love. Glad I tried them on at store first as I wear size larger than my regular size. They slip on and off really easy.

Good boots!
Very comfy! Seem to be well built. They run a full size smaller than I normally wear (size up one full size). I wish this model had an option for the more rugged outsole.
