We’ve utilized a 100% full-grain leather with an oiled finish, that is pre-treated to be water repellent. To increase the water-repellency and extend it over the life of the shoe, we suggest using a waterproofing wax such as Otter Wax and reapplying 2-3 times per year.

IBR OUTSOLE

Our injection blown rubber outsole is what makes Lems incredibly lightweight and flexible. Deemed as the perfect travel companion, this boot can pack down to the size of your favorite puff jacket.

    Nice but can get slippery

    I like the style, large toe box and zero drop. But have two "nitpicks": it might me having a strong foot but the boot is pretty tight to get into (I followed the recommendation to size up), it's a bit of struggle but once in it's all good. Second, the sole can get slippery, I used them for a quick unchallenging hike after a snowfall and at some I felt like a was part of a "Holiday on ice" show ! This is quite surprising since the intended use is in "harsh" conditions to take advantage of the waterproof boot.

    Love them, but they are a liability

    These boots fit great look good and overall are a win, with one significant flaw. The outsole does not provide much grip at all. Between the tread design and the rubber softness (or more accurately the lack thereof ) they can be treacherous on some surfaces.

    Great Florida Boot for Daily Wear

    I love the feel and look of this boot with jeans for everything from the office to the field and even to dinner and church. They're great boots for north Florida weather because they aren't insulated, are really comfortable, and are waterproof in those unpredictable afternoon showers.
