Balanced Weight Distribution
The increased overall outsole width ensures that your body weight is spread out more evenly, reducing the pressure points on your feet. This even weight distribution enhances comfort during various activities. For those with lower arches and flat feet, you will find that this is a big improvement. But for those with high arches, you may feel very little, to no difference.
Enhanced Outsole
The Primal 3 is made with our Widest Fit Last, just like the Primal 2. The difference is that we developed a new outsole on the Primal 3 with a wider footprint for more ground contact underneath the foot.
Higher Sidewalls
When examining the Lems Primal 3 from a lateral view, you may notice a visual difference — the sidewalls now wrap up higher on the sides. This is a deliberate design choice aimed at improving both fit and lateral stability. The higher side walls provide a snugger fit around the contours of your feet, cradling them comfortably.
Zero-Drop Platform
Just like the Primal 2, the Primal 3 is built on a zero-drop platform which keeps your heel and toes level, mimicking your natural barefoot position on a flat surface.

Shoes are good, comfortable
I think the only thing that takes that last star is that my feet are Size 10, EE. Which means despite these shoes being advertised as "Widest" they're not *That* wide. I instead had to order 11.5, and they're still a little too tight, but if I get another size up, they'll be too loose, and I understand some people have freakishly big feet like myself, but it's so difficult to find good shoes that have EE options.

I love Lems as a company and they make some of my favorite shoes. I got the primal 3s in black about 10 months ago and really liked the feeling of wearing them and the look. A couple months back however they developed a hole in the upper that has gotten a little bigger along with some loose thread on the toe cap. I am still going to attempt repairing it with some thread and hope it doesn't look too bad but just want to point out that less than a year on I feel these shoes could have better durability just when it comes to that mesh upper, other than that it's a great shoe.

Loved so much, I ordered 2 more pair!
I've been wearing another barefoot brand for years, but my wife says they look ugly and says I need to wear nicer shoes when we go out...even casually! SO! Enter the Primal 3...they fit like my other barefoot brand, are VERY comfortable, breathe, and best of all, my wife loves them. I think I've found my new shoe! (Writing this as my hubby transcribed it to me)
