These shoes are fabulous!
I have been searching for 0 drop shoes with a wide toe box that would accommodate my orthotics & toe spreaders, that were sturdily made & w/shoelaces that stayed tied.
Of the many brands & styles I have tried over the years the women's Primal Zen is the only shoe that works w/the orthotics & toe spacers. They are comfortable. They enhance balance during quick moves. They are well made & they stay tied!

Perfect fit for my Goldilocks feet!
After trying several pairs of high-end, highly-recommended and very popular footwear for my urban hiking adventures (think San Francisco hills), I finally came across the Lems Primal Zen and it feels like they were designed personally for my feet!
I have extremely high arches and limited upward flexibility which with past shoes has caused issues with everything from bleeding heels to minor, but painful tears in my Achilles tendons. Discovering the Primal Zen means that I no longer have to carry an extra pair of shoes to change into during the middle of my hikes. So far the durability and build of these shoes is very impressive, I average between 10k-15k steps on cement, with inclines every day (way more on weekends) and after a month of regularly wearing these, they still look and feel brand new.
Have you ever had a pair of shoes that were so perfect that you want to buy 100 pairs just in case the company stops making them? This is how’s feel about my Lems! I would love to see a larger variety of color options, but honestly I couldn’t be more pleased with the fit and feel of these! A huge thank you to whoever designed these!
