Heels have never been comfortable for me. Even a 1" lift feels unnatural. Plus, most shoes squish my toes in slight ways which make my feet hurt after a long walk. These feel like heaven. I haven't tried them on a wooded trail yet, but I'm sure they'll be great. I love them so much that I bought a pair of Lems slip-ons a few weeks later. My feet are finally happy. Note: I normally take a size 10 - I ordered the Boulder boots in size 10 and I could have easily gone a 1/2 size up and still have a good fit. Still, they are not too small. I bought a 10.5 in the slip-ons as it suggested to size up, and I'm glad I did. They fit fine but, again - a 1/2 size up would still be fine for me.

Love the look of these boots! I originally ordered my usual size, an 8½, but they felt a little tight in the toe box, so I exchanged them for a size 9. I'm glad I did—they fit perfectly.

I live in the Smoky Mountains and took them on a 10-mile hike. They performed great! I do plan to add an arch support insert since I have high arches and these boots don't provide much built-in arch support.

I was also pleasantly surprised by how well they handled the rocky terrain. The soles don't appear to have a very aggressive tread, but I noticed no difference in traction compared to my other hiking boots. Plus, these were much more cushioned and comfortable.

I'm very happy with my purchase and would definitely recommend them!

This is my second pair. The first pair I got, I purchased my regular shoe size (10 women’s) and they were just a tad too small. I loved them but not as much as I love my new pair that is a half size bigger (10.5 women’s)! SO much better and I am super happy with them. I’m looking forward to buying some LEMS sneakers next. I recommend 1/2 size up with these boots.
