FULL RUBBER OUTSOLE WITH ZIG-ZAG SIPING

This sticky rubber outsole incorporates 4mm deep lugs for incredible traction on snow, mud, and everywhere in-between! The built in zig-zag grooves (siping) provide additional biting edges to cut into ice/snow and helps ground your feet in slippery situations.

100% WATERPROOF UPPER

With its fully waterproof membrane and gusseted tongue, the Outlander will keep your feet dry and warm, especially after a day on the slopes or slogging through slush on your way to the bar!

ZERO-DROP

Places the forefoot and heel close to the ground correcting posture, aligning your spine, and encouraging mid-foot strike.

WIDE TOE BOX

Unlike traditional footwear that squeeze the toes together, our foot-shaped toe box allows for maximum room giving the toes ultimate freedom to wiggle and spread.

Reviews Summary
Customers say these boots offer exceptional comfort right out of the box, with a roomy toe box that accommodates natural foot movement. Many reviews mention their lightweight feel and versatility for both hiking trails and everyday wear. While the waterproof feature keeps feet dry in wet conditions, frequent comments address the short laces that tend to come untied. Most praise the boots' immediate comfort with no break-in period needed. Some note they run slightly small and recommend sizing up a half size. The boots receive particular appreciation for their durability on various terrains, though a few mention the grip could be better on wet surfaces. Reviews highlight their suitability for both outdoor adventures and daily activities.

    Good not perfect

I love the way these look and am enjoying wearing them. I have narrow, low-volume feet so I'm making it work with an extra insole, tongue pads, and adding heel grips.

The lacing choices made here are honestly baffling. The top two holes should be speed hooks, and the metal eyelets over the mid foot make it difficult to actually tighten the laces and lock in the foot, and it's a real annoyance. Not returning over this issue, but wouldn't repurchase.

    Fabulous boots .... BUT.

I can't say enough about how much I love these boots. Comfortable from day 1, waterproof, supportive, sturdy, etc. BUT ... you need to know they will only last about 9 months before the stitching will come apart, or the glue holding the sole will fail. And, the folks at Lems don't care when you call to explain what's happening. They won't fix any issues; they won't give you a discount on a replacement pair. These are expensive boots, and I would expect them to last longer and for the company to care about the problems you might have with them so they could improve their product. All this being said ... for the 9 months they will last you -- they will be the best boots you've ever worn. Trust me - this is my 4th pair.

One boot to rule them all

In a movie trailer teaser voice:: In a world where outdoor brands presume outdoor enthusiasts are the size and shape of LL Bean catalogue models… where function is sacrificed for style or the style is somewhere in the realm of Bob Vila meets Bear Grills…. But the we’re all of them deceived, for another boot was made. Forged in secret in the terrain of the American west, the Outlander was made to rule them all.

Okay, seriously: As a tall, fat, outdoor enthusiast prone to rolling ankles, this boot has changed my footwear game and I will never buy another brand of hiking shoe again. The wide toe box is everything I’ve ever wanted from a wide shoe, and the waterproofing is more than enough for an average trail or light rain. The zero drop is fine, but personally I had to add my preferred insole to help with some heel pressure point issues (again, I’m overweight, so that’s a me problem, not a shoe problem) . I wore these in a 120mile thru hike in the Scottish highlands, and they were everything. Not a single blister, more than comfortable even with day 5 foot swelling, and with the addition of some waterproof socks, up to the Scottish rains. The traction is fine, but the way my soles have worn out, they’re not quite up to slick surfaces anymore (again a me issue). At this point I’ve got well over 400 miles in these boots and they’re still my go to. Plus, they’re just cool looking and about half the weight of my Keen hiking boots!

If you’re new to the zero drop, it takes a…
