Glad I tried In-Person, they are FABULOUS
Really wonderful shoes. I tried them on in-person prior to ordering and ended up going up half a size. They are wide enough for thick socks and extremely comfortable. They are snug around the ankle, but this keeps them in place.

My only regret is waiting too long
I had been needing a winter boot upgrade for a few years years and there's so much out there nowadays I had decision fatigue and just couldn't choose something. This year I knew for sure I wanted something that could work in the colder months in a variety of settings. So far I am terribly impressed with these! I don't go on rugged enough hikes to need a real hike boot, but this is great for little adventure trails with my kiddos, perfect for rain and the small bit of snow I've put them through (no wet feet yet!), and I've even worn these with skirts! I have actually worn them everywhere and for everything since getting them over Black Friday and I'm loving them. So comfortable right out of the box. I did go fully one size up from my normal size because I'm a fan of fluffy wool socks and the fit is perfect. I would've bought these way faster if they came in a more camel-y shade because I feel it's easier to pair both black and brown shades with that color. I will buy them so fast that way, if they ever come into existence. I needed the waterproofness this model provides so overall I'm in love. Thanks for these sweet boots!

Sizing is odd
Returns were made easy for an exchange but I don’t like the sizing or way these fit. I sized up on the first pair as suggested and my toe still bumped the tip so I had to size up again. I wear a 41 very comfortably in Birkenstocks but I ended up having to get a 42.5 in Lems and STILL bump my toe while the rest of the shoe feels loose. I can tolerate the bumping because the boots are super cute and the soles are comfy, but it’s definitely annoying because they look huge on my feet compared to my other shoes. Like I said, glad for the easy exchange option and love the style. Hate the sizing/fit but I’ll deal with it to have cute, waterproof winter boots.
