Not as wide as expected across the toes
I've been thinking about getter a pair of these since they came out, but really, they're a little pricey for sandals. I was online buying a new pair of Primal Zen shoes, when I noticed these were on sale. They were still a little pricey for my tastes, but I needed new sandals, so I decided to try them. Overall, I like them. One minor complaint is that though the back strap is great for making them feel more secure, it also limits them from being quick, step-into slip-ons. They're OK with the strap under my heel when I do just slide into them, but I'm aware that I'm standing on the strap (and the strap gets a bit mangled).
My other, larger, complaint is that they aren't quite wide enough across the toes. I have wide toes, and my pinky toe is right on the edge, sometimes slipping over. My other LEMS shoes are all based on the "WIDEST Natural-Shape" footbed (e.g., Primal Zen). I had a pair of Trail Blazers ("WIDE Natural-Shape") that were a little narrow for me, and it seems like these sandals fit the same as the Blazers, although the sandals are listed as WIDEST.

Great Sandals
The Switchback sandal is a mix of Flip flop and sandal, The security of a heel strap with the flip flop strap up front. Toebed is nice also, not too soft (mushy feeling) and not too textured (rough sticky feeling). They have held up all Spring and Summer wearing almost everyday so far.

Impressive Sandal
The attention to detail that Lems has put into this sandal is truly impressive. The years they put into developing this was well spent and I couldn’t be happier with these go to sandals for my beach adventures. Very comfortable once I got used to the post between my toes.
