Balanced Weight Distribution
The increased overall outsole width ensures that your body weight is spread out more evenly, reducing the pressure points on your feet. This even weight distribution enhances comfort during various activities. For those with lower arches and flat feet, you will find that this is a big improvement. But for those with high arches, you may feel very little, to no difference.
Enhanced Outsole
The Primal 3 is made with our Widest Fit Last, just like the Primal 2. The difference is that we developed a new outsole on the Primal 3 with a wider footprint for more ground contact underneath the foot.
Higher Sidewalls
When examining the Lems Primal 3 from a lateral view, you may notice a visual difference — the sidewalls now wrap up higher on the sides. This is a deliberate design choice aimed at improving both fit and lateral stability. The higher side walls provide a snugger fit around the contours of your feet, cradling them comfortably.
Zero-Drop Platform
Just like the Primal 2, the Primal 3 is built on a zero-drop platform which keeps your heel and toes level, mimicking your natural barefoot position on a flat surface.

Super comfortable!
These boots are so comfortable! I've had them for at least a year & I absolutely love wearing them. There is only one thing that I don't like about them - donning and doffing. The only time I choose a different "similar weather" shoe to put on is the time when I need to get my shoes on quickly! I would LOVE to see a boot like this with a zipper on the inside ankle for quicker on/off.

Comfy
These boots are like wearing a cozy slipper. They don’t pinch anywhere and I have peripheral neuropathy so that is essential. I had to get a half size up so my toes wouldn’t hurt. These boots actually support my sprained/strained ankle. I haven’t found these features in any other shoe/boot. Thank you Lems.

Telluride boots (Women’s sizes)
Took me a while to decide on the best size—I’m normally a 9.5/41 in other shoes ((my feet:longest foot 25cm length/both feet 9.5cm width)). My right foot is also lower volume and shorter by almost 1/4 inch. The Telluride 9.5 (40.5) is just a bit too short in length but fit really nicely otherwise-10 (41) has the right length and plenty of room for my toes-both width and toe box height, and room in the rest of the shoe is generous.. This size has a bit more volume in the mid portion than I need-but with socks they feel great. Will buy again - would love to see a medium/chocolate brown version of this boot!
I also tried on the waterproof barefoot Chelsea which just didn’t fit my feet well-right shoe was too loose in the 10 (41) that was right length for my left foot but the width and vertical space in toe box were less than I need. And tried on the Boulder Summits, these didn’t have enough width or vertical space in the toe box-otherwise the 10 (41) was the right length.
