MOUNTAIN-TO-TOWN OUTSOLE
Engineered with a low profile rubber tread that combines the best of both worlds: ample traction on trails, AND excellent durability on pavement.
LOW HEEL DROP
With 4mm of drop, compared to the traditional 12mm of drop, the Trailhead naturally decreases heel-striking for a more natural gait and healthier posture.
FIRM CUSHIONING
When your foot is on too soft of cushion, you end up with pain and discomfort. We've formulated a firm EVA midsole that'll keep your feet happy all day long.

I bought this shoe primarily because the first shoe I had for two years and basically wore every day in NYC has finally worn out. As winter approaches, I found this shoe would be a good fit to manage the winter climate changes and be much better than the first shoe in the snow. So far, so good with the shoe; I just wish it could have fit better with the insoles in place.

Got my first pair of these a couple months ago at a local shoe spot, loved them so much that I bought a second pair just to have when the first pair kicks the can. I have pretty normal feet, maybe a bit wide, but I could never find a shoe that just let my feet be themselves, other brands were just too tight, narrow, or had awkward seams that created uncomfortable pressure points. Not so with Lems. I am convert and will forever be so (as long as they keep making shoes the way they do). Highly, highly recommended. I did find myself sizing up, so trying them on a few sizes is a good idea.
