This new and improved, hand-stitched, full grain leather shoe will not only look awesome, but it will leave your feet feeling happy and healthy.

Do me a favor and take a look in your closet at some of the traditional footwear that you might own. Then, take a look down at your feet. See any similarities? My guess is, probably not. Unlike your close friends down there on the floor, most shoes are often extremely narrow heading up towards the toes, with an elevated heel – which more often than not can cause unnecessary stress on the ball of your foot. These two characteristics alone can lead to toe ailments including bunions, plantar fasciitis, along with many other issues.

Here at Lems, we aim to provide our customers with a line of shoes that mimic the natural shape of the foot, eliminating these harmful and rather annoying foot problems. For this reason alone, we are continuing to create new and improved products that can satisfy the needs of not only you personally, but also the needs of your feet.

Soon to be available, on Thursday, January 14th, will be the Mariner (Gen. 2) in the color Walnut!

Weighing just 7.4 ounces, this shoe is composed of all full-grain 1.8mm thick leather, with no lining, ensuring maximum coolness. This shoe has been developed with the same Lems 9mm thick casual outsole, which is composed of Lems IBR 64.

We also have enhanced the insole of the shoe, which is composed of 1.0mm pigskin leather and 4.0mm breathable open cell PU. You know what that means? No more barefoot funk!

The wide toe box is hand-stitched and we have also improved this new model of the Mariner by lengthening the tongue of the shoe, compared to the original Mariner. This zero-drop design allows for adequate foot room and ensures overall healthier posture.

And, as always, the new and improved mariner will be completely collapsible – perfect for travel and storage.

We are very excited for the second generation Mariner to be released to all of our customers! Make sure to keep an eye out for what we have in store for the remainder of 2016 – you definitely won’t want to miss out!
