Almost perfect!
I like almost everything about this shoe: the wide toebox, the zero-drop heel, the barefoot feel. However, I really don't care for all the writing all over the shoe, especially the big "Live Easy & Minimal" around the heel. I had ordered the black model in the hope that maybe I could get away with wearing these on semi-formal occasions, but no way with all that writing all over the shoe. Please remove when you update/replace the model.

Most Comfortable Shoe I Own, but...
MY FAVORITE SHOE—but, the signage is over-the-top sad, with a large LEMS on the side, a large icon, the words Live Easy & Minimal in a childish font on the heel, and tag lines—in raised letters—on the rubber part of the heel that say, "back to our roots” and "ancestral footwear”. GOOD LORD—WHY ARE THERE SO MANY WORDS ON MY SHOES? Let the comfort and minimalism of the shoes speak for themselves. Take off everything except maybe the icon (and make it smaller)—make the design… er… minimal.

Cheap Craft Felt Material | Non-wicking
These shoes are an average fitting shoe. Not super comfortable and not uncomfortable. Cheap materials and construction. Where they really fail is when they get wet. The cheap felt fabric overlays of the upper holds water when wet, to the point where I thought the shoe may just fall apart while on my feet. They take a couple days to air dry, which says that it has very poor wicking ability. Who makes shoes with craft felt????

Minimal manufacturing
I two pairs of Lems Primal 2 Black. The first pair I had worn for about a week. They were too small because the sizing chart says the shoes run true to US sizes. There is no standard US shoe sizing, so that really doesn't mean anything. Since I had worn the shoes, I could not return them. I ordered a second larger pair, and the tongue on the right shoe separated after three weeks.

great fit, weak stitches
The shoes feel awesome. Wide toe box, barefoot feel, flexible, light. The stitching on the insides gave within days. Same happened on my other pair

Toxic materials
I love the concept. Shoes designed for the shape of your feet. However, the materials used construct are just terrible and what you would find for $10 shoes are your local import shop. First up, it has a terrible chemical smell. You can smell harsh solvent based glue permenatanting from the shoe. Secondly, the stitching is poor and uneven with random blobs of glue around the sole. Its crazy to use this level of quality and what's worse is that a shoe call “primal” is use the most unnatural materials possible. It feels horrible wearing them, I can smell the glue and dyes off gassing on my socks and I just hate to think what VOCs my skin is exposed to.

Weekend warrior
I have to say these shoes have been the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. I have wide feet and the toe box is perfect for me. They are so light and perfect for everything I do. The looks are better then most barefoot/minimalist shoes. The only problem I have is the life of the shoe, after only a few months I have worn through most of the tread of the shoe. Hopefully the Lems will work on the tread life and maybe some other styles/colors in the future!

One size bigger maybe!?
Only reason why I give it a 4 is because they didn't have my size. I do really enjoy them they are a little bit snug but all in all a great shoe. Just make up to a 13us size that would be amazing!

Bring back the original shape!
These are a completely different shape from the Primal 1's and the original Lemmings! Much too narrow in the toe box even with the insole taken out. These were the only shoes that fit my husband feet right. If I'd known you were going to change the shape so much I would have saved up and bought 2 pairs of the original shoes. I've been reattaching the sole with Shoe Goo for the past year, so they aren't exactly a really well made shoe either, not for the money.

Primal 2
By far the most comfortable shoe I've ever worn. Just enough cushion in the sole, but not to much. Good looking shoe. Except PLEASE take away all the writing on the shoe!!! And I liked the tag way better. IT was perfect before. Don't fix it if it ain't broken.

Really like them, but...
Like other reviewers have said, the words are a bit much and should go. The only other thing I'm sad about is that they don't come in wide. The toe box is a great size, but I need more width in the metatarsal area right behind the toes. There was just no fixing the lacing to accommodate this until they stretch out. Now it's just uncomfortably tight instead of painful. That being said, I've been wearing them every day (college campus walking & lifting in the gym), they feel great in all other areas, & I'm pleased with the quality.

Too Narrow
Purchased these shoes for my dad who was looking for a wider toe box, but were still too narrow for him. Not a big deal, but we had to pay $13 in shipping costs to return them. If you're going to purchase, maybe find a store so you can try them on first.

Not Wide Enough
Toe box was a little restricting even though they're supposed to give ample room. Also, the part of my foot behind my little toe just was squashed by this shoe. If it were wider in those two areas it would be a good option it seems. Either I have an unlucky foot shape or these shoes still aren't quite wide enough to accomplish what they set out to do.

Best shoes ever
I'm in love with my Lems. These are the only shoes I ever want to wear. So light and comfortable. I've been wearing them sockless for almost a month just about every single day and they still don't even smell. Size 11 fits my foot perfectly (I usually wear 10.5-11).

All around
All around well designed shoe that also look cool. Wish you had a slightly wider toe box option for those who use the correct toes.

Thank you!
I have had so many problems finding shoes that work for me. My feet have been described as being gnarled, they are absolutely flat, and I have bunions. I was skeptical, but gave LEMS a shot. I have fallen in love! Work requires that I am on my feet all day. It is great to be on my feet and not feel any pain at the end of the day. Thank you!

outstanding
these are the most comfortable shoes i have ever worn. they look nice, seem to be of high quality all the way to the shoelaces. the toe box is wide but not so big that they look freakish. i usually wear a 12.5 US and sometimes 13. i got the size 46 and they couldn't fit more perfectly.

Approaching Greatness
I'm currently on my 2nd & 3rd pairs of Lems Primal 2's (a brown pair and a black black pair) I love the shape of the shoe, the wide toe box is unbeatable. I wish the laces were a bit longer to allow a more relaxed, flexible fit. (Or better still, bungee laces, closed loop with a toggle? -I did that to my first pair of Lems = perfection) SIZING: my feet are just a tad bit shy (I'm talking a couple mm) of 27cm.... annnnnd the 44's were excessively large. So I ordered 43's. Bingo. Almost. I still have to remove the insole to make them fit better. If the insole weren't removable these shoes would be waaaay tooo tight for me. 3.5 stars
