Pretty Satisfied
As a barefoot lover, I was thrilled to find a pair of barefoot boots for work in EMS. I am still thrilled, but I have a couple complaints. I feel that the toe is far to hard and a little too confining, and the shoe is too difficult to lace up. Considering these are designed for first responders, I think they should be made to tighten up with one pull. Also, the details said it was made of genuine leather, it seams very fake to me.
On the whole, I like them, they are pretty comfortable, and took minimal breaking in. I would probably buy again, but I may look around a little first to see if something better exists.

Great boots!!
Just started wearing these boots because of bunion issues for my left foot. They have been great! My feet have adjusted very well, no break in time. I recommend these boots for anyone having bunion issues. I can’t say at this point how they will last. I usually go through my 5.11s in 6 months, as the heels wear out quickly. I have been wearing the same 5.11 model for the last 25 years, there was nothing wrong with them other than my foot changed. I do like that I can shine these boots. I did find that I needed a size 8 in these, where I normally wear a 6.5 or 7. That was the problem with my 5.11s, the brand new boot hurt my bunion that developed over the last year. The right boot was fine.
I tried a 7 (still touching bunion) and a 9 (too big), before getting the 8, which fit just right.

Great quality
The boots are great quality, they are a little bulkier feeling than I imagined and they fit snug, maybe should have gone up a half size bigger which is not my true size. But they look great and work great
