I want to start up front by saying that these are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. I'm very prone to foot and back pain from shoes, but with these, walking feels the same as when I'm barefoot, and is much easier on my joints.

Unfortunately, I bought these to replace my work shoes, but these aren't sufficiently anti-slip for working in a kitchen. I'm regularly slipping and sliding on surfaces that I've never had trouble with in other non-slip shoes. I'm torn because while these are very comfortable and high quality, I worry that I'll have to replace them with more uncomfortable shoes to keep from falling at work. Either way, I'll definitely continue to use these in my everyday life.

Enjoying the look, build and feel of the Kourts very much. The non-slip soles make the shoes much more stiff than other Lems. That feel of more substance is fine with me. I did purchase because I work in a restaurant and needed slip resistance. I would rate the Kourts at about 60% for slip resistance. When you get over any truly wet surface like a kitchen floor, you need to be careful as it’s a bit like being on ice. The soles also have a ‘crunchy’ sound when coming off a wet surface onto a dry surface.

They took a day or two to break into it, but now they are very comfortable with a natural feel. The shoes have great grip, in my hospital environment this is huge for safety reasons. I am walking/standing most of the day and these shoes are a life saver. Love them

I did buy these shoes for work in commercial kitchens, and I know these shoes are not marketed or designed for kitchen use - so this review is for the shoes themselves, not as they perform in the kitchen. These are another great pair of Lems, the leather is nice, they are very comfortable, and my feet don’t hurt after a full day on my feet. They have held up quite well after a solid month of wearing them. My only real complaint is that they are not non slip enough for kitchen work
