Almost Perfect
I am enjoying wearing this shoe. My toes aren’t bunched, and I feel like I’m walking barefoot. The flexible, minimal cork sole really contributes to its spacious, natural feel. I really appreciate the cork insoles for being able to do so much with so little. I am hopeful that they will take on some form over time. These shoes are most likely perfect for 99% of people. The only improvement I would suggest is not to the shoe itself, but to the variety of insoles Lems offers. As someone who suffers from the effects of spinal injury, I benefit from the use of custom insoles. Unfortunately those custom insoles are not minimal, and therefore do not fit well inside this shoe. I would like to try the max cork insole, but alas, they are not in stock. I don’t believe this would solve the problem anyways. If only there were an option for cork insoles with some arch support and a slight lift in the heel, these shoes would be perfect.
