    Comfortable Shoes, but Durability Varies Over Time

    This review does not address the design or fit of the shoes.

    I have been a Lems customer since February 2023. Both my son and I have regularly used Lems footwear during this period. This review focuses specifically on material selection and long-term durability.

    Based on our experience over the past few years, certain Lems models do not hold up well over time under regular use. My son typically goes through approximately four pairs within a single school year. By comparison, my other son uses shoes from a different brand and is able to use one pair for nearly an entire school year under similar conditions.

    From a pricing standpoint, the two brands are in a comparable range. Because of this, durability and material longevity have become a more significant factor in evaluating overall value.

    While we remain loyal users of Lems and appreciate their philosophy and comfort, the gap between price and material longevity has become noticeable over time. This review is being left after extended use to document that observation.

    Duck feet

    My feet are so wide, I should be able to run on water. Skate-style shoes are hard to find. I've worn these shoes for 2 weeks and love them.

    Able to wear my true size

    It was wonderful to have space for my wider feet. I could wear a 9.5 instead of a 10 because there is space in the toe box. I like how they can transition from the office to the trail.
